About Council On Accredition for Children & Family Services

As a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), CCCS is required to be accredited through the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA).

We are required to undergo the accreditation process every four years to maintain our membership status and use the CCCS name.

COA accreditation is important to our agency for the following reasons:

...It demonstrates that our organization is meeting national standards of care and service.

...It provides a detailed analysis of our agency's strengths and weaknesses.

...It establishes a framework for ongoing quality improvements. CCCS of Montana is an accredited agency and can provide services to persons of all ages. Accredited agencies are distinguished by the following attributes:

...The quality of our services.

...A primary focus on the needs and assets of consumers, clients and families.

...Collaborative relationships with other community organizations and various stakeholders. ...A willingness and readiness to provide "culturally competent" services.

...A commitment to producing positive service results. By adhering to COA standards and going through the accreditation process, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Montana commits to providing high quality services to our creditors, our clients, those that use our education programs and our staff. The COA accreditation process ensures that your confidence in us is well founded.

If you have any questions about COA or the accreditation process, feel free to contact our agency. You can also visit the COA web-site by clicking on the COA icon in the right side-bar of our home page, or visiting: www.coanet.org
