Financial Literacy Awareness Month

April is National Financial Awareness Month!

April is designated as national financial literacy awareness month.  In our current economic times, it is even more important that consumers take an active role in their financial planning.  Consumer Credit Counseling Service is hosting a free workshop “Five Things You Need to Know Now for Your Financial Future” at CCCS (2022 Central Avenue) on April 23 from noon to 1 p.m.

Service providers will find the information helpful both for their personal benefit and for assisting clients.  The course covers revising your budget in times of economic stress; stretching your income and reducing expenses; and implementing an action plan for your financial future.  The course is free and a financial adviser will be on hand to answer questions.  Call 454.5730 for more information.
